Planet Blue is an American Progressive Rock band formed in Tempe, Arizona in 1991 by Joe Sofia (lead vocals and fretless bass) and Frank D’Angelo (lead and rhythm guitar). Peter Parker Minucci later joined the group as the band’s drummer and backup vocalist in 1993.

The band incorporates elements of folk, hard rock and classical music , with emphasis on strong vocal melody Lyric and harmony.

Monkey God is an American Progressive Rock Band formed in Sedona Arizona By Joe Sofia:(Lead Vocals and Fretless Bass) Mike Jung: (Lead and Rhythm guitar and Keyboards) and Steve Botterweg:(Drums,Keyboards and backing vocals.
Monkey God's original compositions have a unique blend of world music with influences ranging from India,The Middle East, and 1970,s. Art Rock bands from England ,Europe,and The United States with classical melodies,melodic unorthodox guitars driven by strong Bass and Drum rhythms,Monkey God will release their first EP titled Beyond The Horizon in early 2025
